Family dinner at The Cholmondeley Arms

More of a lifestyle post here on behindthedoorat51 for you all today. I wanted to share a restaurant I went to with my family in Cheshire whilst visiting my mum recently. The building the restaurant is in has been converted from an old village school house. The Cholmondeley arms is one of the most unique pubs I have been to from the old school furniture to the 40 different gins available for you to try!

Three of us opted for the Beef roast dinner being a Sunday whilst my mum and stepdad went for scampi followed by warm chocolate pudding and marshmallows! How pretty are the plates the roast was served on?! The service was super fast and the staff extremely friendly that I couldn't recommend it enough, they even allow your four legged friends to join you!

If you are ever in the area be sure to pop in, they can even offer a place to stay!

Where is your favourite place to eat?

The Sunday Post #2

001. Firstly I wanted to mention I have now added GFC (hurrah!) to my blog so can now follow there and on Bloglovin'.

002. This week I've mainly been focusing on the guest posts I am doing for some lovely bloggers. I haven't had much time to write posts which is why they have been sparse but this will will be back to normal! I don't believe in saying sorry for not posting as its your space to do whatever you like with so don't apologise! I'm really apprehensive to see the response my guest posts get as they will be the first I've ever done.  Make sure you follow me on Twitter @behindthedoor51 if you want to check them out!

003. My best friend of all time who lives in America is back in England for a couple of weeks so I've been catching up with her and her friend from America. We have the type of friendship where it doesn't matter how long you haven't seen each other for whenever you do everything goes back to just the way it was. I haven't laughed so much in such a long time!

004. Lastly I don't think I can go without mentioning the weather! I know you are probably sick of people saying how lovely it is but how lovely is it?! :) I've been trying to catch as much sun as possible to get a base tan before I go to to France in 3 weeks, 3 weeks today actually! I can't wait to just spend some quality time with my boyfriend relaxing on the beach and having fun!

I have my first shift at my new job tomorrow so must get some sleep! Hope you've all had a great weekend! :)

Radox 'Coconut Kiss' shower cream

I'm staying at my mums this week which of course meant a trip to Savers. There isn't one around where I live so I like to stock up and have a nose at what's in there whenever I can. Last time I picked up some biore nose strips for £2.99 compared to eBay where I last bought them at £7.00 so it's worth keeping an eye out.

This time I was on the look out for anything I can keep for holiday, it's so much cheaper than boots that's its worth buying it a month or so in advance! Usually I gravitate to more fruity, berry scents but seeing as its for holiday the coconut one reminded me of sipping a piña colada by the pool haha!

For a lower end brand I don't find the scent too synthetic and do notice the smell linger on my skin after I've showered which is rare to find in a lot of lower end brands. I like the simple packaging and squeeze tube as its really easy to use whilst in the shower, no unscrewing and having to hold the lid! Like the name suggests the formulae is creamy and milky which I like in a shower gel, I find them a lot more moisturising and they lather up easily.

For £1 I can't fault this product and am looking forward to using the rest whilst on holiday. I can't wait to smell like a piña colada for the week! :)

Have you tried any of the other scents Radox have to offer?

Nip+fab 'Mango Smoothie' body butter

This is one of those products I just couldn't wait to talk to you about! You may have read in my recent post I popped into Savers for a few holiday essentials, of course moisturiser being one, can you imagine my reaction when I came across this for a mere £2.99?! Yep I almost squealed aloud!

This is the first product I've tried in the Nip + Fab range and so far I'm really impressed.

Not only did they have the 'Mango smoothie' scent but 3 others including the infamous 'Pistachio' which I was tempted by but not being the biggest pistachio fan I thought I'd opt for one I knew I'd like. They also had a coconut latte scent and cherry tarte which I'm tempted by. The scent doesn't scream mango to me more mango mixed with cherry and is defiantly extremely sweet. Have you ever tried the sweets 'moams?' It defiantly reminds me of those if you know which I mean!

The brand claim the body butter is intensive and nourishing which helps to repair dry and hydrated skin which I agree with. The texture of the body butter is very unique I find its almost between a butter, a cream and a serum. It sinks into the skin almost immediately and leaves no oily residue which means no wandering around, waiting to get dressed whilst it does which is always a plus. I like how it leaves a subtle scent on the skin afterwards so on holiday ill be smelling sweet!

Now go, go and run to your local Savers to pick this up or you'll regret it because at £2.99 for a 200ml tub and several scents to pick from you'll love it!

....have you gone yet?!
